2) Nurture existing customers and look for new opportunities
Speaking of getting to know your customers. You also have to ensure you are looking after those who have been with you for a while, keeping them updated with any promotions/offers via e-newsletters or face-to-face conversations. You also want to look for new opportunities and look at why, what you offer is different or better than the rest.
3) Take advantage of social media
Take advantage of all the free available social media channels, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. They are all powerful tools that promote your business to potential customers and can be another way you communicate to your current customers too. You will be able to gain valuable insights, identify keywords and trends as well as look at new ways in which you can promote your business.
4) Host events and/or workshops
Hosting your own event or workshop can be a great way to build relationships with existing and potential customers. Offering advice and providing valuable information to help grow their business will only encourage them to trust you and your business even more.
