Payroll and Workplace Pensions
We can run your payroll by calculating gross wages/salaries, deductions, bonuses, pay for time not worked (holidays, sickness, etc.), other items on employee paychecks and processing it through our payroll system, while also working with submissions to HMRC. We also work with workplace pension eligibility, and can run the proposed payroll run against the pension providers’ platform. We will work along side your pay schedule, with a requirement to have a sufficient amount of time to process payroll, send off for review to employer, pension uploads (if required), and HMRC submission.
Workplace pensions must be applied by all employers. This means calculating who is eligible for a workplace pension within the payroll, and applying the deduction; bearing in mind that they may opt in or out of the scheme. We work with all popular workplace pension providers and can set up your pension. Our preferred pension provider is Smart Pensions, which provides a portal for you to manage your pension, something you can do direct, or we can do for you.
